The COUNT is in Wimberley!

by Steven Dietz

Sept. 26 - Oct. 19, 2008
Director: Lee Colee-Atnip
Producer: Charlotte Caldwell

Steven Dietz’s critically acclaimed stage adaptation of the classic Bram Stoker novel is a heart-pounding thrill ride, an exhilarating and terrifying journey through the dark world of Count Dracula and his victims. Fear, uncontrollable passion and mysteries unexplained by science drive the play's characters in the age-old struggle between good and evil. A stunning union of Greek tragedy and Gothic horror...unforgettable theatre.

The fast-moving drama takes the audience from London to Transylvania, moving quickly from one scene to another in a roller coaster ride of emotion and intensity. The battle between good and evil plays out quickly as characters try to piece together clues of the Count’s appearances in an effort to save themselves from a hideous fate. ”I want your fear,” says Dracula. “Your fear makes your heart pound, it renders your veins rich and full.”

Starring Rick Billings (Dracula),  David Bisett, Chris Higgins, Rebecca Ferguson, Katie (Combs) Meldrum, Derek Smootz, Dan Williams, Coy Branscum, Marvin Carson, Rebecca Stokinger, Gina McClure, Bert Flanagan and Penny Stone.
