Teresa Kendrick is a journalist who spent 14 years living and working in the Jalisco region of Mexico. She is a former by-lined columnist for the Guadalajara Reporter, the largest English language newspaper in Mexico. She maintains a home on Lake Chapala and is the author of Mexico's Lake Chapala and Ajijic: The Insider's Guide, an intensive guidebook to the area. Always involved in the arts, she served as marketing director for Laguna Gloria Art Museum and volunteered for many years on the board of Austin Friends of Folk Art. She was one of the organizers of Mexican Masters, an artist relief program that brought museum-level art to the US in 2008. She began crewing for the Players in 2011 and joined the board in 2013.
