Free Tickets to Local Organizations and Businesses

Updated: Feb 13, 2023

The Wimberley Players is opening its arms by offering select FREE tickets for each opening weekend of their 2023 season to a randomly selected local business/organization.

“We want to reward our community friends and partners with the excellent dramas, comedies, and musicals that we bring to Wimberley,” says Elaine Cardenas, WP Board President. “Wimberley Players is proud to bring five productions throughout the year to our community and we plan to give away 20 tickets to a local business/organization with the purpose of sharing them with their employees. It is our hope that these businesses/organizations will recognize this as a valuable perk that will contribute to team-building and positive internal relationships, in addition to allowing us to support our community and to bring our kind of entertainment to new audiences.”

The local business/organization selected by the Players at random to receive tickets will be notified two weeks prior to the opening weekend of each production. But any business/organization interested in being considered to receive these tickets is invited to submit their request by emailing Karin Cunningham at

The 2023 Season dates are:

The Importance of Being Earnest, Feb. 24 – March 19, 2023

Sense & Sensibility, April 28 – May 21

And Then There Were None, June 30 – July 23

A Streetcar Named Desire, September 1 – September 24

Nuncrackers, November 17 – December 10

Opening weekend Free Ticket Giveaway performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM ONLY, are given on a “First come, First served” basis, and reservation must be made directly through the box office.
