George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s, are playing Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac in repertory in Buffalo. On the brink of a disastrous split-up, they hear that Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee and may well cast them in his new movie. It's their last shot at stardom. Unfortunately everything that could go wrong, does. (Comedy)
